Certified Home Health Aide

Job Description

UniversaCare is hiring Certified Home Health Aides/Personal Care Assistants to do home care visits.

UniversaCare is a fully licensed and accredited home care provider serving the NY Metropolitan area and Nassau County for over 12 years. Our mission is to provide compassion and excellence in all aspects of home care as a trusted provider in the community. We offer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week quality care, including personal care and companionship.

Full-Time & Part-Time (Flexible)

We provide full PPE to our caregiver families (masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer).

Job Requirements

Work with patients of all ages that require care in their homes

Must be able to carry out patient care plan activities

Must be a caring, patient, and compassionate caregiver

Be willing to accompany patients to doctor’s office

Qualifications

Valid HHA (Home Health Aide) or PCA (Personal Care Assistant) certificate

Up-to-date physical and medical information (within the last 12 months)

Assist clients with personal care, including dressing, mobility, medication reminders, personal hygiene, and eating

Document and report any changes in client's health status

Ensure highest client safety and well-being

Driving preferred but not a must

Education

Must be able to read and speak the English language. Bilingual HHAs and PCAs are encouraged to apply!
