We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team.

The Human Resources Generalist will provide general services to the Human Resources department to assist in hiring, employee development, benefits, and termination. This role is responsible to enforce HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct New Hire Orientation each week
• Responsible for managing online employee files
• Process and continued maintenance of Leave of Absences
• Communicating with employees and managers to provide information and assistance concerning employment, policies and procedures and personnel records
• Maintaining HR Database through the existing HRIS system for all employees and work closely with dept. head for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference, and/or conveying information to employees based on their request
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documents, files and records related to her/his own work area in both electronic format and hard copy in compliance with established guidelines
• Participating in inter-departmental consultation to develop recommendations and/or supporting other managers in other departments
• Assisting in maintenance of the Learning Management System and employee development
• Report generation and analysis of employee metrics as and when required
• Communicate with respective campus employee personal data maintenance
• Performing other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the Human Resources Department

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience working in HR function
• Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently, within prescribed guidelines, or as a team member
