OptumInsight provides analytics, research, consulting, technology and managed services solutions to hospitals, physicians, health plans, government agencies, life science companies and other industry partners. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in Application Management services (AMS) projects
  • Directing the integration of technical aspects of all related projects/programs
  • Defining work strategies, aligning these with resources and desired client outcomes, and overseeing planning and execution of the work
  • Ensuring technology solutions are managed to support business strategies, often working with senior management
  • Conducting analysis, needs assessments, and cost/benefit assessments and helping to broker other technology services
  • Active part of Technology transformation projects like Application Rationalization, Application Cloud migration etc.
  • Ensure compliance of Service Levels with respect to Applications
  • Collaborate and coordinate with multitude of stakeholder (Internal & External)
  • Work on Service now day in day out to keep the managed projects up to date
  • Participate in technical and implementation discussions with technical teams, infer action items and follow them up to closure 
  • Capture and communicate transformative project status to leadership
  • Proactively identify the risks, issues with the Transformative projects and document them

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, or Information Technology management
  • 2 years of Technical Applications Management experience
  • Experience supporting external and internal clients/stakeholders
  • Experience with ServiceNow & CMDB
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Healthcare industry. Provider space
  • Experience conducting Application Rationalization assessment, Cloud migration assessment, etc.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining solid relationships with internal and external partners, and demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
  • Experience using communication and influencing skills in a complex matrix environment
  • Experience working in a consulting environment and with clients
  • Experience with agile methodologies and traditional project management
  • Proven solid problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island or Washington residents is $67,800 to $133,100per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
