The Enterprise CTO organization, a division of Optum Technology, is responsible for defining the enterprise technology strategy in alignment with the United Health Group (UHG) vision, mission, and strategy. This team innovates technology transformation across the UHG enterprise to improve healthcare. The Enterprise CTO is uniquely positioned to help solve challenging problems that face our healthcare system today. By serving the whole of UHG, the ECTO is uniquely positioned to leverage technology to serve complex problems challenging many of our consumers and internal lines of business.

The Marketing Technology organization is hiring for a Lead Product Manager, Marketing Automation Platforms. In this role, you will be Optum’s key technical resource for all things B2C Marketing Automation at UnitedHealth Group (UHG). This will include the implementation of new investments that UHG has made in marketing automation platforms, support the organization’s current marketing automation platforms, and help to migrate the organization off legacy marketing automation platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive technical product vision and roadmap
  • Engage appropriate enterprise-wide stakeholders to enable awareness and alignment
  • Lead the product across its entire lifecycle using defined processes and industry best practices
  • Define solutions with high-value requirements, a compelling business case, clear product positioning, priority and strategic impact
  • Partner with stakeholders to enable successful development, delivery, and adoption of technology solutions
  • Manage ongoing product performance, expansion, financial health, roadmap and end-of-life decision as appropriate
  • Builds relationships across stakeholders (product and technology) to appropriately leverage SMEs in removing obstacles and resolving conflict
  • Leads cross-functional teams, and communicates challenges and opportunities to stakeholders/direct leadership
  • Participates in product backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and high-level release planning

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with demonstrated accomplishments delivering project features/capabilities
  • 5 years of experience in one or more marketing automation tools, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Marketo, Oracle Eloqua, or similar 
  • 2 years of delivery experience as part of an Agile delivery teams, within a formal agile delivery program
  • 2 years of experience with marketing databases, marketing technology best practices, and capability optimization 

Preferred Qualification: 

  • Adobe Certified Expert, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator, or Eloqua Certified Implementation Professional
  • Agile certification
  • Solid analytical, organizational and relationship building skills. Ability to analyze information from various sources

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City, or Washington Residents Only Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York City, or Washington residents is $101,200 to $184,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
