The Staff Accountant works under the supervision of the Assistant Controller. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and demonstrated knowledge of technical and operational accounting and finance functions are a must.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepares journal entries and reviews accounting classifications that feed into the PeopleSoft accounting system
• Responsible for revenue reporting activities which includes accurate and timely updating of schedule and analyses
• Run various reports and queries from PeopleSoft to validate financial information
• Performs account reconciliations and uploads information to the BlackLine system
• Assist with audit requests and other projects as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 years of experience in accounting or related field
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Solid organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
