UNITED WATER RESTORATION GROUP, INC. is Hiring an Estimator Near Ormond Beach, FL

United Water Restoration Group is looking for a Full time Water/Fire/Mold Estimator. This position will be based out of our corporate office located in Ormond Beach FL, supporting the North Florida division ranging from Jacksonville, to Tampa. Our ideal candidate will have at least one year experience working with Xactimate and experience in the restoration industry.

Duties:

  • As an Estimator you will work closely with the Production Managers, Emergency Services Department, Customer, and will be responsible for estimating new restoration projects.
  • Inspect, sketch, and accurately scope all residential and commercial restoration projects in a timely fashion using the preferred or required software.
  • Create accurate and profitable job estimates
  • Create, document, and communicate any change orders and supplements to all involved parties.
  • Identify and remove barriers to successfully complete all projects in a timely and profitable manner.
  • Understanding of materials and equipment needed for producing projects.
  • Obtain accurate pricing for materials, equipment, and labor needed for producing projects at or under the expected budget.
  • Obtain timely bids from subcontractors, when necessary, on projects. Prior to completing an estimate in some cases.
  • Obtain approvals on all estimates prior to commencement of work.
  • Coordinate and communicate project details with Project Coordinators and Superintendents.
  • Regularly communicate with customers throughout the process and set realistic expectations.
  • Obtain all required paperwork needed at the signing, during production, and closing of each project.
  • Close business–obtain customer commitment and manage projects to completion.
  • Maintain project files during involvement of the assignment’s life cycle (dates, documents, notes, updates, coordination, communication, etc.).
  • Maintain effective communication with customers and all involved parties – including third party owners, building engineers, property managers, tenants, etc.
  • Coordinate with customer and administration for timely collection of project payments.
  • Establish relationships with business owners, insurance professionals, and TPA's

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and sick days
  • Medical, dental, vision and 401k with employer matching after 60 days.
  • Company vehicle and gas reimbursement provided if traveling

Team Qualifications (Requirements):

  • Xactimate experience. Min 1 year REQUIRED.
  • Sound planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Valid Driver’s license and satisfactory driving record required
  • Preferred: Dash, XactAnalysis, Symbility, Encircle, QuickBooks, Mica, Hydro, Excel, Word, Contractor Connection, Alacrity, and other applicable job management software.
  • IICRC Certifications in Water, Mold, Fire/Smoke/Odor (preferred)

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift (M-F 8:30-5)
