United Water Restoration Group of Austin is Hiring a Construction Estimator Near San Marcos, TX

Currently looking for a Construction Estimator

Interested candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in disaster restoration and construction estimating/management. 

Responsibilities of the Construction Estimator / Project Manager: 

The Construction Estimator inspects properties damaged by events such as water damage, mold, and fires and prepares estimates to repair them. He or she works with the insurance adjuster and property owner to obtain agreement on the scope and cost of repairs. Once the estimate is approved and the property owner signs a work authorization, the Estimator manages project to ensure the work is performed properly, and collects on the job.

  • Manage all aspects of the rebuild on restoration claims (scoping, sketching, estimating, coordination of personnel, and communication with insured and adjuster, etc).
  • Ensure the estimate timelines are met.
  • Educate the client on the process of repair, the timing of service delivery and realistic expectations.
  • Prepare accurate job costing and estimation, ensuring target margins are met.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to insurance stakeholders, homeowners, and property managers.
  • Manage job site rebuild staff as well as provide leadership in health and safety, by ensuring the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
  • Experience handling multi-family, residential and some commercial losses Experience writing estimates in Xactimate

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Commissions!

Company Provided Vehicle, Fuel Card, Computer, and Phone.

Company Benefits include: Health, Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays.

Required experience:

  • IICRC certifications preferred
  • Expert Xactimate proficiency
  • Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Estimating rebuild of water and fire losses: 3 years
