Surgical Specialists at Princeton has an opening for a part time Sterile Processing Tech to join the team!

Job Summary: The Sterile Processing Technician cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.

Required Skills:

* High School diploma or GED required.

* CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred.

* 1 year of Sterile Processing experience.

* GI Scope Processing experience.

* Experience with all types of sterilizers.

* Knows operating room instrumentation.

* Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.

* Understands operation of steam/gravity sterilizer.

* Understands Sterrad sterilizers.

* Ability to prepare reports and keep records.

* Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required.

* Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed.

* Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
