Job Description

Responsibilities:

Interface & Communications

· Review Task Plans for an understanding of work activities to be completed by Craft

·  Work closely with the SGT Training Department on incoming new hires

· Interface with all project employees to address safety concerns, issues, questions, and maintain the Safety message on a daily basis.

· Address questions brought up by the Craft

· Investigate Injuries and events

· Perform safety surveillance Walk-downs

· Attend Plan of the Day Meeting to present safety issues, incidents, observation card results, ect.

· Enter Safety Activities or significant events in the Safety Log Book for turnover to the next shift

· Coordinate as needed with EMT/Medic for daily updates of all cases, doctor visits, and current status of open cases

Work Implementation

· Setup new hires in Costpoint with correct hourly rates, job class, crews, and titles

· Input and Validate daily timesheets in an accurate and timely manner

· Balance timesheet input to Costpoint payroll system reports

· Reconcile manual timesheets with reporting requirements for Fatigue Management and against an electronic badging system.

· Process weekly payroll and provide Project Controls with corresponding payroll report

· Print checks at the current jobsite via electronic file from Corporate office.

· Issue daily Force Report

· Update pay rates, make correcting adjustments, keep complete employee files, and process terminations

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/Qualifications/Certifications
B.S. Degree in engineering or science (safety related field) or equivalent training,

Minimum of 8 years relevant experience, training in the field of industrial safety
Minimum of 10 years progressive safety experience in utility operations/generation/construction with a strong background in Nuclear
Supervisory experience required

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

CHST OR CSP preferred.
