About the Role: 

Interoperability means building bridges between diverse, complex systems that may have never been linked before. The ideal candidate will be imaginative and driven to ask critical questions about how systems should, could, or do work. Our product brings to life technology solutions that advance interoperability of the Unite Us platform with new and current integration partners like community-based organizations (CBOs) and Health Systems to connect technology used by all members of a whole-person care team.

As an Associate Product Manager at Unite Us, you’ll help to maintain and support the development of the product roadmap for our Interoperability product, help manage a feature team’s agile sprints and team communications, and help run a tight build-measure-learn development cycle. You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Product leadership and other stakeholder teams to ensure the most impactful ideas are nurtured, validated, tested, executed, and iterated on.

What You'll Do:

• Work with Product Managers along with internal and external stakeholders to implement and execute on the Product Roadmap and vision for solutions identified by product leadership business strategy.
• Assist in regularly prioritizing, monitoring, and tracking the progress of the team backlog and commitments against targets, communicating this with the team to manage expectations and suggest additional support when needed.
• Work with Product Managers to translate the needs of the business, as communicated by product leadership, to the technology organization. Collaborate with the development team to ensure that user stories contain necessary details to enable efficient prioritization, coding, testing, and client validation needs. 
• Assist with preparation and facilitation of Backlog Refinement and Sprint Planning sessions, while making sure to attend all other agile ceremonies as an active participant.
• Present complex data/information and ideas through open, transparent communication to engender trust and ensure mutual understanding.
• Work with Product Managers to identify and act against any roadblocks, suggesting potential solutions to even the most complex issues. 
• Consistently demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and product proficiency, empowering others in their team to improve performance.
• Work with Product Managers and the implementation, support, and sales teams to update or create training and onboarding materials to ensure the organization is prepared for new products/solutions being developed and can appropriately communicate and set client expectations.
• Support implementation processes by collaborating on implementation plans, user testing, and documentation creation. Assist with troubleshooting product issues as needed.

You’re a great fit for this role if:

• You have at least 1 year of experience as an Associate Product Manager or Product/Business Analyst with consumer-facing and/or B2B software products in healthcare. Experience working with existing and emerging products desired.
• You have strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• You’re able to independently research and analyze various data/input documents. 
• Subject Matter Expertise - you have knowledge of the healthcare industry and healthcare or social care technologies like Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resource (FHIR) 
• Customer Focus - you’re dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of clients; you get first-hand customer information and use it for data driven improvements in products and services; you act with customers in mind. 
• You can successfully navigate and contribute to a highly-matrixed environment.
• Solution Design - you translate business needs into practical applications and solutions
• Communication - You have strong persuasion skills and are an effective communicator; you can communicate and evangelize a compelling vision internally and externally, and to create and tell stories from data. 
• Agile - you have experience working in or managing Agile teams

Environmental Job Requirements & Working Conditions:

• This position is remote, U.S based
• The target pay range for this role is: $65-75k
• This position may require up to 10% travel
