Learn more about Unisys and our key solution offerings: Unisys, Stealth™, CloudForte®, InteliServe™ What success looks like in this role: Senior Quality Assurance (SQA) lead is responsible for all aspects of quality assurance and control throughout the software development lifecycle. This involves continual development and implementation of rigorous testing methods and procedures to evaluate the quality of the developing software project as defined within the scope of Devsecops. They must work closely with the architecture and development team to ensure full knowledge of the proposed software design and that testing covers all aspects of intended functionality. They also work closely with clients to ensure proper priority is given to testing the aspects of the software most used and desired by the client from functional and non-functional perspectives. They work closely with the Program Architect Security to ensure compliance to secure code development standards. They develop risk-driven test strategies for business applications for projects and on an ongoing basis. They work with the test team to identify opportunities for test automation. They contribute to the scope and design of the security/penetration testing and performance testing. SQA leads provide feedback on quality to the development team and team leads to spur changes in the software development process. The define standards and minimum thresholds for software quality by applications criticality and technologies. Develop, write and manage the execution of an overall software test strategy from a risk and technology best practice guidelines and tools. Oversee the design and implementation of validation procedures, test plans, and test cases. Lead efforts to enhance and make the testing process more efficient including test automation via Devsecops. Provide guidance on scoping security/penetration testing and performance tests. Ensure test coverage extends into the customer and third party ecosystem to the extent necessary to minimize service risk from change. Monitor and report application quality status for enterprise applications. You will be successful in this role if you have: At least 10 years in testing with over 5 years in in test management and quality assurance of software development. Must have worked as test lead in large (2 years , $5million ) software development projects. Good understanding of the banking applications, financial services risk management and financial sector regulatory requirements in Australia / New Zealand would be very beneficial. A minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required for SQA leads. Formal certification in software quality assurance/testing e.g., ISTQB/ISEB certification.
