UNION BANK & TRUST is Hiring an Operations Analyst (Part-Time) Near Lincoln, NE

Position Summary: The College Savings Operations Analyst (Part-Time) coordinates and processes trades, reviews accounts for accuracy and posts financial transactions to accounts.

Essential Functions:

  • Complete the CSG Nightly Cycle. Posting all College Savings trading activity including troubleshooting and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Daily financial trading activity needs to be processed at or near 100% accuracy. Create and verify the daily settlement reconciliation spreadsheet.
  • Review and process distributions, rollovers, investment changes and various account changes such as changes in ownership/beneficiary, transfers between accounts, etc.
  • Responsible for all the account level financial transactions during fund mergers and replacements.
  • Coordinate and process National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC) activity and trades.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training: follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience preferred.
  • Minimum of three years 529 College Savings experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and in working with other financial software.
  • Proven accurate data entry testing at 95% or above.

Working Environment:

Sedentary work – may occasionally involve lifting or carrying up to 10 pounds.

Indoor work – not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.

Work schedule is evening hours several nights a week.

This role is eligible for hybrid work from home opportunity under the work from home guidelines upon completion of onboarding.

Hours: 15 or 20 hours, Monday – Friday, 5:00 PM or 6:30 PM – Approx. 10:00 PM
