Job Details
The primary purpose of the Produce Department Manager is to be responsible for the total operations of the Producec department and management of employees, which includes hiring, induction, coaching/counseling, training/skill development and performance management.
The Produce Department Manager produces, packages, prices and merchandises the Produce department to meet objectives for sales, margin, inventory turns and customer service.
Previous experience in a produce department is preferred however we are willing to train
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to work in a cold environment
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. or more routinely
- Must be able to stand while walking for entire shift
- Compensation based on experience working in a produce department
