We are looking for an experienced and motivated RN Nurse Manager to join our team At Grace Ridge Retirement. As the Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the nursing department. This includes managing patient care, supervising staff, and ensuring quality care is provided. You will also be responsible for developing policies and procedures, monitoring performance, and making sure staff is meeting the needs of our residents. We are looking for someone who is organized, has excellent communication skills, and is committed to providing exceptional care. QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Experience: At least one year Long-term care or related experience required, supervisory experience preferred

License/Registration: Current NC license - Registered Nurse. Current CPR certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required

Other: Thorough knowledge of nursing standards, principles and procedures; ability to work well with others

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires frequently: pushing 40 lbs; pulling 80 lbs; standing; walking; repetitive trunk rotation-standing; manual dexterity; both handedness (both hands must be used) functional vision and hearing; Occasionally: lifting 35 lbs from floor to waist and waist to eye level; one handed carrying 15lbs; work kneeling; work squatting/crouching; visual color discrimination; and visual depth perception. In the environment occasionally exposed to wetness; slippery surfaces; ionizing radiation and accident exposure.
