POSITION SUMMARY 

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Developer to join our software development team. In this role, you collaborate with other developers and engineers to design applications and programs. Part of these responsibilities include writing and debugging code, so we are looking for applicants proficient with C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or other common programming languages. You should also be proficient using .Net, ReactJS, or other common frameworks to develop software for various platforms. You will have the opportunity to participate in the creation of web, desktop, mobile, middleware, and backend applications.

• Lead product planning activities including feature analysis and system tradeoffs
• Work with stakeholders (business, engineering teams, and customers) to build useable interfaces and reusable code and libraries
• Implement beautiful layouts using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Create and update ReactJS components and various middleware with an eye for modularity
• Lead the team in frontend, backend, API, and mobile development
• Lead in the design of database schemas
• Continually improve the quality of code
• Collaborate with product owners to ensure features/changes meet business requirements
• Work closely with the team to understand and define the problem, solutions, dependencies, and technical details
• Thoroughly test software through unit, integration, and product testing
• Lead formal and informal code reviews
• You will continue to learn and grow professionally and inspire the rest of the team to do the same
• Contribute to Scrum activities: sprint planning, backlog grooming, execute work in progress, and refine processes through retrospectives

Requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

• Bachelor of Science or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields, from a four-year college or university, Software Development Bootcamp, or equivalent education and experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft .NET (C#) with an emphasis on web development
• Proficiency with Git
• Proficiency with Visual Studio, VS Code
• Proficiency with HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS
• Proficiency with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Proficiency developing and consuming API’s
• Familiarity with graphql, REST, microservices architecture
• Familiarity with popular design patterns
• Embedded software development experience is a plus! Specifically C, C , 8051 and ARM chips
