Job Description:
UKG is looking for a self-motivated, proactive Financial Analyst with proven ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment to support our growing Finance organization. This position provides financial support for the Relationship Management organization and is responsible for planning, forecasting, and ongoing reporting & analysis. This individual will work closely with and receive guidance from team members, as well, work independently with functional leadership, specifically Relationship Management to enhance reporting capabilities, structure conversations for smart business decisions, encourage open communication among the team and establish a framework for accountability.
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Relationship Management business leads and to develop headcount and operating expense forecasts and maintain ongoing communications with groups supported to review actual financial results and discuss forecast assumptions
  • Participate in the monthly close process and perform detailed account analysis related to spend and headcount.
  • Support the planning and development of the budget and forecast by collaborating with key stakeholders through gathering and analysis of historical data, trending future requirements, and summarizing in a meaningful way
  • Perform financial and reporting analysis monthly to include detailed Per Employee Per Month (PEPM) rate analysis
  • Support quarterly corporate reporting metrics and submissions to Finance leadership
  • Support the Recurring Revenue FP&A team’s monthly revenue reporting and analysis
  • Utilize Alteryx and Power BI to develop complex workflows and dashboards to improve reporting and analysis efficiency
  • Recommend and implement process automation
  • Partner with IT as needed for system solutioning in the development of new data capture/reporting requirements
  • Support special projects/create ad hoc analysis as needed

Qualifications

About You:
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Advanced Excel skill level with modeling experience
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in a Financial Analyst role
  • Proficiency with Alteryx and Microsoft Power BI required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, & strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication/presentation skills and an ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and to proactively anticipate/resolve potential issues
