Quail Run Hospital is a 102-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. Quail Run features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. The Licensed Inpatient Program Therapist performs social services and psychotherapy functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while providing assessment, diagnosis, and psychotherapy treatment of individuals, couples, families, and groups to assist patient’s in achieving their optimal level of emotional health, including providing basic consultation, psycho-education, complete specialized clinical psychotherapy services for patients/families receiving care, crisis intervention, short-term family therapy, and providing information and referrals as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, mental health, or related degree required.
• Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a healthcare setting or managed care company with experience in patient assessment, treatment planning, utilization management, and/or case management.
• Licensure: LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LIASC, LMFT, or other healthcare – related licensure preferred. If not licensed, must be able to obtain license within 6 months of hire.
• Additional Requirements: Successful completion of Management of Aggressive Behavior (SAMA). Must have valid CPR card upon hire.
