Responsibilities

System Administrator for our Information Systems Department

Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities. Aiken Regional Medical Centers has been ranked a top hospital in South Carolina by the Carolina Center for Medical Excellence for its treatment of heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia. Services provided at the hospital include emergency medical care, orthopedic surgeries, maternity, and behavioral health services.

Position Description:

Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems; performs system backups and recovery; maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity; supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN); provides end-user support for WAN and LAN-based applications.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

High school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.

Five (5) years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) N , Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certifications preferred.
