Reports to the Director of Surgical Services and/or OR Manager and Charge Nurse, responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation and documentation of surgical patients. Overall responsibility is for the nursing care of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes, including supervision of all categories of nursing personnel.
QualificationsCurrent California RN License required. Current BLS (CPR) certificate required.
Current A.C.L.S. certificate preferred. (Revised 11/29/07) One year prior OR experience preferred.
C.N.O.R. preferred.
