Responsibilities

Foundations Behavioral Health provides innovative behavioral health treatment and academic excellence to children, adolescents and young adults with mental illness, autism spectrum disorder, and/or intellectual disabilities. We are currently seeking a part-time Recreation Therapist for our Doylestown Campus.

The Recreation Therapist serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team, and facilitates developmentally appropriate therapy groups, community outings, therapeutic activities, and special events tailored to the interests and needs of the children and adolescents in our residential program. Must be skilled in assuring that interventions are developmentally appropriate and trauma-informed, with careful consideration given to safety. Must be willing to work a schedule that includes weekends and evenings.

Qualifications
