Nurse Manager

The Brook Hospital Dupont is seeking a Nurse Manager to join our team. This is a full time, salaried position.
Key Responsibilities include:
The Nurse Manager assist in the delivery and direct a high caliber of patient care to include nursing. Directly supervises 10 or more employees in nursing department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Required: Associates Degree in nursing
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in nursing
LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION:
Currently registered with the Board of Nursing for the State of Kentucky
EXPERIENCE:
Required: Three to five years of experience in psychiatric nursing with a minimum of two years of management experience
Preferred: Five to eight years of experience in psychiatric nursing with a minimum of two years of management experience
