Job Summary: Performs diagnostic mammography/Dexa/ X-ray procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their mammogram. Participates in CQI activities.
· High school graduate; BS degree preferred.
· Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) in radiography and certified/board eligible in mammography.
· Certified in the State of Nevada to practice and administer radiation.
· One-year mammography experience preferred.
· Current BCLS certification.
Northern Nevada Medical Center is a 124-bed acute care hospital located on 23 hillside acres at 2375 E. Prater Way in Sparks, Nevada.
