UHS is Hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse - Subacute Near CORONA, CA

Responsibilities

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Subacute position located in the new Subacute building located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA

This is a part-time, day shift position.

The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992 and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. The merged hospitals are now a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.

Working under the direction of the RN/Charge Nurse, the LVN provides nursing care within his/her scope of practice
following unit specific standards of care and the policies and procedures of Corona Regional Medical Center

Qualifications

MINIMUMESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Minimumof six months experiencewithinthe pasttwo years workinginageneralacutecarefacilityor an
acquired equivalent competency appropriate to the type of subacute patient the facility provides care for.

MINIMUMESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Successful completion of a ventilator/tacheostomy skills competency is required within the first seven (7)
working days during unit orientation and annually thereafter.

REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Current CA LVN license required.
Current BLS (CPR) required.
Current blood withdrawal certification required.
