Are you an experienced Counselor, Social Worker, or Registered Nurse , passionate about providing services in a behavioral health setting? Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral is looking for you! We are currently recruiting for an Intake Counselor position for our intake department.
Position Summary
The Intake Counselor is responsible for providing assessment and admissions support to walk-in and phone callers, and ensuring proper referral to the service or resource that best meets their needs.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Initial assessment of walk-in and phone callers.
• Analyzing and evaluating information to provide appropriate recommendations.
• Partner with various departments to admit patients into care.

Qualifications
Education: Masters prepared mental health professional with a degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or another related field, or RN required.
Experience: At least one 1) year experience utilizing assessment skills preferred
Licensure/Certification: CPR required; CPI Certification required.
