Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center offers intensive residential treatment services within a secure setting. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of youth ages 7- 17 who are experiencing emotional, psychiatric and educational difficulties. In addition to our general psychiatric programs, we also offer specialty programs for youth with more serious challenges. Harbor Point and its programs are fully accredited by The Joint Commission and the Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Educational Facilities. We are licensed by The Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and the Virginia Department of Education. We are a TRICARE®-approved and certified facility.

QualificationsQualifications:
Education:
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing, which confers RN, AD, or Diploma in Nursing.
Licensure/Certification:
Licensed by Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse. Certificate or eligible for certification in the Association for professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology certification, or able to complete certification. CPR certification.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse and Infection Control experience preferred.
