Are you a passionate HR professional with proven experience managing HR tasks in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for you! Palmetto Lowcountry is hiring a HR Generalist to support our employees.

Position Summary:

The HR Generalist (HRG) functions as the first point of contact for all applicants, employees, and managers. The HRG manages the specific areas of new hire onboarding and orientation, accurate and timely HRIS data entry, personnel file maintenance, and learning management system. This role is a vital supporting HR Director in employee relations, employee engagement, and supporting the smooth operation of the HR Department.

Primary Duties:

  • Manage the onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Manage, maintain, and audit employee files for ongoing compliance.
  • Manage data entry and reporting in the HRIS system accurately and timely.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis to support HR reporting requirements.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred or a combination of education and experience.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR generalist role or similar position.
  • Demonstrated experience providing HR support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Time management skills
  • Critical and Strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
