SUMMARY: Responsible for preparing food, in the kitchen, and cooking a variety of dishes. Requires a high level of familiarity with cooking skills and techniques, the ability to season and prepare food according to the recipes, and the ability to work under pressure to ensure that appetizers, entrees, and desserts arrive on time.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
HOURS: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Qualifications
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED required. Minimum one-year experience food preparation in a cafeteria setting.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS: Food Handler Card by the Department of Public Health required. Must be obtained from a Riverside County approved program.
