Position Summary:
The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for managing and directing the activities of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and facility policy, goals, and objectives. This position contributes to the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, educational and quality improvement efforts, while providing guidance to the MHTs, Program Therapists, & Program Interns.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master’s Degree specializing in social work or a clinical related mental health area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
Licensure: Current LPC, LMSW, LMSW, license issued by the State of Texas.
Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Management of Aggressive Behavior training within 30 days of employment. Training provided during new hire orientation. Thorough knowledge of JCAHO/HCFA, OSHA, state and federal regulatory requirements.
