Beaumont Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility)

A new, 144-bed behavioral health facility – Beaumont Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24-hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy.

Position Summary:

The Admission Coordinator is responsible for answering the main doors as well as the hospital switchboard phone, verification of insurances, obtaining signatures on admitting paperwork, and the processing of all admitting forms. The Coordinator interfaces with the Intake and Business Departments, patients, and nursing units. We will consider flexible scheduling options.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience verifying insurance required
• 1 to 3 years of experience working in an admissions or related department required
• Phone/switchboard and computer skills required
• Professional, customer service focused individual with strong communication skills, ability to multi-task and critical thinking skills.
• Willing to train the enthusiastic individual 

Work Hours: This is a night shift position, 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. This person may work overtime, and will work holidays, and rotating weekends. This is an in-person position, but we are open to discussing flexible scheduling.
