LCCA is recruiting fantastic Per Diem/ PRN Admissions Clinicians. Admissions Clinicians are responsible for the following tasks: maintaining daily census records, entering all intake and admission data into a hospital computer database, handling intake calls, completing thorough intake assessments, determining appropriate levels of care with MDs, verifying insurance benefits, completing insurance prior-authorization requests, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with referral sources, completing follow-up tasks pending resolution and ensuring treatment and clinical service recommendations are based upon patient needs. Maintain positive relationships with staff from other departments and foster a team environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Master’s Degree and at least two years or relatable experience in counseling or behavioral health (counseling, social work, sociology or psychology) or relatable field with relevant experience in intake and admissions of master’s level Intake Director or Counselor who will cosign all assessments preferred. Registered Nurses (RNs) encouraged to apply.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid state driver’s license with appropriate endorsement.
