Transporter - PRN

Natchez Trace Youth Academy is a highly-structured 115-bed residential treatment center serving adolescent males ages 10-17. Our interdisciplinary staff helps residents refocus their thinking patterns in order to improve their actions/behavior. Our diverse team works together to facilitate the changes that become an investment in the future of each young man's life and his family's life. We are located in the beautiful hills of Tennessee between two magnificent rivers, just 15 miles south of Waverly, Tennessee. We are seeking a Transporter, PRN position is a front line, entry-level opportunity with responsibility for direct patient care of our adolescent residents, while adhering to the company's Service Excellence standards.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Transports residents to various appointments.
• Ensures the safety and well-being of the residents.
• Develops positive relationships with residents and co-workers.
• Assists in special events and functions.
• Must be a compassionate individual dedicated to help us continue our tradition of helping young men achieve the greatest chance of success possible.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

High School diploma or GED and one (1) year experience working in a children's services program. Experience in a residential program is preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid state driver’s license with Class F endorsement. Driver’s License must be in good standing, meaning you may not have any of the following to be considered: 

• Two at-fault accidents during the past three (3) years
• Three (3) moving violations during the last three (3) years
• Driving under the influence (DUI) or driving while intoxicated (DWI) convictions
