If you wish to advance your nursing career and have some supervisory background, in a behavioral health setting, our Nursing Supervisor position might be what you are seeking. We are seeking a full time employee to cover the weekend shifts. 

The Nursing Supervisor will assume responsibility for complete facility operations during an assigned shift. This includes supervising nursing and clinical staff, ensuring that patient care is provided in an accurate, timely and safe manner. Other responsibilities include assisting the staffing coordinator with RN and Mental Health Associate staffing, communicating any issues to the other members of the nursing management team and conducting round audits.

Qualifications

Education: A Bachelors Degree from an accredited program in professional nursing is required; MSN or equivalent is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of three years in an acute psychiatric hospital setting is preferred.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in appropriate use of seclusion and restraint within ninety days of employment; must pass a medication administration exam and complete Handle With Care training within 90 days of employment.
