UHS of Delaware, Inc. is Hiring a RN (PRN) Near ATLANTA, GA

Responsibilities

PRN Registered Nurses (RNs) needed.

  • Our current openings are PRN Positions: 
  • Days, 8:30 am to 9:00 pm or Nights, 8:30 pm to 9:00 am
  • The Behavioral Health RN manages the nursing care of patients in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

The tasks and responsibilities include: Performs initial and on-going Nursing Services and Health Assessments according to accepted standards of nursing practice. Assesses plans and evaluates patient care needs. Participates in treatment team conferences to assist in planning and revising goals, objectives and interventions appropriate to the age-related and problem-specific needs of each patient. Evaluates patient's response to interventions and revises nursing plan of care as needed. Collaborates with the treatment team to revise goals, objectives and interventions appropriate to the changes in patient status. Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. E.O.E.

Qualifications:

Current Georgia Licensed as a Registered Nurse, Customer service abilities including effective listening skills. Critical thinking skills, decisive.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience:  A minimum of two (1) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the Gerogia State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Handle with Care (HWC) and Verbal De-escalation before on the unit orientation and prior to assisting in a restraining process. Must pass a medication administration exam and complete a basic developmental competency exam.
