Responsibilities:
Temporary (15 Weeks) RN Opportunities at a beautiful campus! $70/Hr no benefit, No shift Differential.

Must be
able to attend 2 week orientation Mon-Fri most days are 8 am -430 pm

Shift Available (only these shifts are available at the moment):

7 p.m. - 7 a.m.

3 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Can not have worked at Cumberland Hospital in last 6 months to be eligible for this program

Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents is a unique acute care, inpatient specialty hospital with 110 licensed beds, including Med Surg. and Residential Treatment Center; staffed by the finest physicians and treatment teams. We treat patients, ages 2-22 who have chronic illnesses, brain injuries and neurobehavioral disorders with co-behavioral issues.

Qualifications:

Essential Job Duties:

  • Develops a nursing care plan with specific goals and interventions, individualizing nursing actions to meet patients' needs.
  • Assists patients to regain health and reduce episodes of illness through patient and family education.
  • Provides structure and maintains a therapeutic environment in collaboration with the patient and other health care providers.
  • Works cooperatively as a member of the multi-disciplinary.

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • BSN Preferred
  • Hold an active Registered Nurse License in the state of VA or Compact State
  • Prefer one year of inpatient medical surgery, rehab or psychiatric experience
  • Must be able to sustain physical activity throughout the scheduled shift
  • Able to remain on feet throughout the scheduled shift
