Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity

Prairie St. John's, a 110-bed psychiatric care facility located in Fargo, North Dakota, has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, free-standing behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St. John's. Exciting update: January 2023 we will be moving into our brand new hospital. There we will have 130 beds instead of 110. We are looking forward to helping more people in our new space! Join our team now to be part of the excitement!

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

  • Current license to practice nursing in North Dakota (or eligible to receive or renew). North Dakota is a compact state.
  • Good communication and relationship skills including the ability to set boundaries, hold confidences, establish and maintain trust
  • No prior behavioral health experience is required. Our training and skills development workshops along with peer mentoring assure the success of RNs new to behavioral health and graduate nurses.
