Reporting to the Director of Maternal Child Health, the Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care to maternal and newborn patients. The RN is responsible for maintaining current education and training required for practice.The RN supervises and is accountable for the patient care of all non-RN personnel assigned to work with them.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCEExperience in Perinatal Care and Obstetrics preferred.REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Current California RN license required.
Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required.Current NRP required within 90 days from date of hire.AWOHNN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate required within one year of hire date. ACLS required.
