Reporting to the Director and/or designated supervisors and charge nurse. Responsibilities include assessments, diagnosis, planning,
intervention, evaluation, and documentation of pediatric patients. Additional accountabilities include counseling and education for patients and
families. Overall responsibility is for the nursing care of patients and for maintaining standards of nursing practice and optimal outcomes,
including the supervision of all categories of nursing personnel.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCEExperience in Perinatal Care and Obstetrics preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Current California RN license required. Current BLS (CPR) Certificate required.Current NRP required within 90 days from date of hire.AWOHNN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate required within one year of hire date. ACLS required.
