Responsibilities

Recreational Therapist

Hill Crest Behavioral Health is an acute care, 194 bed inpatient psychiatric facility located in Birmingham, AL, providing mental health services for adolescents and adults.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy
  • Minimum of (3) year’s recent recreation expertise in an in-patient environment highly preferred
  • Current CTRS
  • Must complete and maintain training in CPR and Handle With Care
  • Aggression management, crisis intervention and restraint training.

 Training may be obtained during first week of employment during new hire orientation.
