JOB SUMMARY:
The Receptionist greets guests within the hospital lobby areas and manages the facility telephone system. Receptionist works with the IOP department for check in of all IOP Group patients, works with ECT department with notification of arrival of ECT patients, follows arrival and patient pick up, works with Intake department notifying of assessment arrival, following 15 min checks, works with units for arrival of visitors, monitors codes, orders office supplies, copier equipment, a resource for staff and all who come to CPH for support of CPH services.
Salary Range: $13.92-$20.88/hr
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Previous experience with telephone switchboard systems.
Licensure/Certification: None
Knowledge: Excellent telephone etiquette and tact; pleasant and audible speech, with good enunciation; flexibility; ability to interact effectively with
persons of widely diverse roles, backgrounds, cultures, and socio-economic classes, those in crises or resistant or negative toward
organization; ability to remain seated at switchboard for long periods of time without significant discomfort or distress.

Environmental Conditions: Works in general office environment and Behavioral Health hospital units/programs. Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit
violent/aggressive behavior. Potential for exposure to communicable diseases, blood/body fluids and other hazardous waste.
Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate verbally, telephonically, and in writing. Push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds. Intermittent sitting, standing, walking,
bending and stooping. Drug and alcohol free as evidenced by negative results of post-offer, pre-employment urine drug screen. Must be
able to lift and carry computers, monitors and printers, patient belongings, forms, toner supplies. The physical requirements described here
