We are a private 122 bed psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health care and chemical dependency counseling services. Valley Hospital is centrally located with easy access to many areas of greater Phoenix. We are between North 35th and 36th Streets with East Earl to our north and East Thomas to our south.

Position Summary:

The psychiatrist will be responsible for admission evaluations and daily care of patients in assigned caseload, treatment team leadership, participation in medical staff meetings, program development and oversight including quality management review; referral source communications as needed. www.valleyhospital-phoenix.com

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Qualified candidate will possess and M.D. or D.O. degree, be board eligible or certified in Psychiatry, and be eligible for an Arizona license and credentialing at Valley Hospital.

• Successful completion of (SAMA) including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
