Job Description

Responsibilities

 

Position purpose:The Director of Program Integration ensures the integration of our regulatory and program standards into the daily operation of The Hughes Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the facilities daily practice is consistent with the standards of practice of the facility policies and program standards, along with the regulations and code of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  •  

  • Responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, execution and evaluation of the facility’s programs and services including overseeing assessments, service planning, programming, positive behavioral support plans and overall milieu management.
  •  

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive behavioral intervention program throughout facility in conjunction with Medical Director and Director of Clinical Services.
  •  

  • Provide programming supervision of, RBTs, MHTs and Behavioral Technicians in the implementation of ABA programming and standards.
  •  

  • Provides support to MHTs in the implementation of quality programming and services consistent with regulatory requirements.
  •  

  • Assures patient care and programming is carried out as indicated by the treatment plan and program guidelines.
  •  

  • Provides facility direction in responding to crisis situations and manages resident behaviors, as required.
  •  

  • Assists in the development and implementation of the treatment plan and behavior intervention plans for each patient by participating in team meetings, as requested.
  •  

  • Follow procedure for proper documentation, and review of documentation.
  •  

  • Ensure facility compliance in regulatory standards, with specific focus on Family Engagement (both activities and documentation), daily required interventions & Q15 minute checks.
  •  

  • Protect and maintain resident health and safety, including respecting Human rights, & participating in PI and corporate compliance duties.
  •  

  • Serves as Administrator On Call (AOC)
  •  

  • Performs other duties as assigned, based on the needs of the facility.
  • All employees must have recieved the COVID - 19 vaccine.

    Qualifications

     

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

     

     

    Education/

    Experience:   

     

    A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or Special Education and three years of full time paid work experience or

    A baccalaureate degree in social work, psychology, nursing, or education and five years full time paid experience as a leader working in a behavioral health setting for children, and in administration and supervision

    Licensure:

     

    Comply with all licensure/certification requirements in Virginia per degree.  BCBA preferred.   

     

    Knowledge:

     

    A thorough knowledge providing clinical services, behavioral intervention/management and leadership/management principles.                       

     

    Physical Requirements:

    Position responsibilities require a very moderate level of physical exertion:  some

    Mobility between buildings.  Frequent sitting with ability to change positions, stand or

    Walk. Preference for candidate who is capable of performing CPR or physically

    Managing an aggressive resident. I acknowledge that I have received and understand the above standards and responsibilities.
