Responsibilities

The Per Diem requirements are 4 shifts per month, 2 of which must be over the weekend, as well as 1 summer and 1 winter holiday. There is opportunity to pick up additional shifts and overtime if interested.

Friends Hospital is the nation's oldest private psychiatric hospital, located on a beautiful 100-acre campus in Philadelphia, PA. Friends Hospital offers a continuum of care including level of care assessments; specially designed inpatient units for adolescents, adults, and older adults; and a private residential rehabilitation program. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides timely, safe, and effective nursing care in the assigned area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures from the Department of Nursing Services.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program. Current state RN license, BSN preferred. One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults, adolescents and/or children preferred.
