Centennial Peaks Hospital is a 104 bed behavioral health facility located in beautiful Louisville, CO. We are dedicated to providing a full range of mental health and chemical dependency services to the state of Colorado. We strive to enhance the mental health, safety and well-being of our patients, their families, and the community at large by providing ethical, compassionate, medically and psychologically integrated inpatient and intensive outpatient treatment for psychiatric and addiction disorders.
JOB SUMMARY:The Prep Cook participates in the creating and preparing quality meals and nutritional services to patients, staff, and guests. Follows established policies and procedures in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Centennial Peaks Hospital.
We offer a competitive pay and comprehensive benefits package which includes:
Full-Time, Part-time, and Supplemental Hours Available
Pay Rate: $17.00-$20.00/hr
Shift Differentials available depending on hours.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.
Education: Prefer high school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Experience not required, however prior food preparation experience in a hospital, health care, or hospitality setting would be beneficial.
Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of equipment usage including (not an all inclusive list): stoves, ovens, steamer, fryer, grill, electric mixer, dish washing machines, microwave, food charts.
Supervision Received: Dietary Manager, Director of Plant Operations
