Qualifications:
Provides medical evaluation and treatment services
Performs routine history and physical exams and medical follow up treatment of patients at admission and ongoing.
Ensures timely meetings with patients and timely documentation of related notes.
Practices according to industry standards for psychopharmacologic treatment.
Communicates with attending physicians, psychiatrists, etc. regarding status and treatment of the patient.
Meets quality expectations of accuracy, completeness, and is responsive to feedback.
Alternates after hour on-call schedule.
On-Call and Weekend Services: On-call Providers rotate throughout the week, and each provider will be on-call usually one weekend per month. Daily on-call hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following day. Weekend on-call hours are from Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. on Monday morning. The On-Call schedule is based on availability and scheduled around days off that the provider requests ahead of time.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Unencumbered Georgia Licensed M.D. or D.O.
ASAM Certification Preferred
Expertise and/or interest in treating patients with addictive disorders and mental illness.
Board eligible or Board certified
