Patient Transporter Opportunity (Lewisville, TX)

The Excel Centers’ is an outpatient mental health facility that provides Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient treatment for children and adolescents ages 5-18. Excel Center’s caring and multidisciplinary staff has successfully provided mental health treatment for over 25 years. Excel Center is a Joint Commission accredited hospital with a solid reputation in the community and is a part of Universal Health Services, Inc., one of the nation’s largest and most respected providers of hospital and healthcare services. Excel Centers are located in downtown Lewisville, Fort Worth, Willow Park and Arlington. Their hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Transporter provides transportation of patients to and from the facility providing continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling to the patients while maintaining safety at all times. May be called upon to serve as Program Specialist/MHT as needed, providing highest level of care/safety with patients.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year working with children and/or adolescents preferred. Experience driving passenger van preferred.
• Maintains a valid, class specific driver’s license applicable to the transportation of patients.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a good driving record as reported by the Department of Public Safety. CPI and CPR per New Hire policy must be completed prior to providing direct care services. May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.
