UHS of Delaware, Inc. is Hiring a NURSE RECRUITER Near ENID, OK

Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of Nursing Services, Hospital and Physician Practice recruitment and on-boarding. Determines the suitability of the applicant and communicates effectively with management and applicant the outcome of their application. The objective is to fill requisitions with the most qualified candidate as quickly and economically as possible. Responsible for the development of Workforce and Recruitment Program, includes advertisement campaigns. Has understanding of Human Resource policy and procedures and Federal and State laws regarding employment practices.

  • Actively functions daily Recruiting Clinical Staff and Non Clinical staff. Monitors quality and efficiency of the recruiting and onboarding processes. Implements appropriate process improvement processes to address identified problem prone areas.
  • Develop and administers Workforce and Recruitment Program based on the needs of the organization (includes advertisement, career fairs, etc.).Responsible for following, adhering and updating all steps in iCIMS for employee requisitions and applications. Maintains job templates, reviews and screens applications daily, forwards qualified candidates to Hiring Manager per UHS guidelines. (Updates all applicant activities in iCIMS). Reports delays in Hiring Managers responses to eligible candidates. Updates and maintains recruiting activities in iCIMS daily and keeps HRD updated on the status of all candidates. Performs all steps on assigned requisitions from Application to Hire.
  • Serves as liaison with agencies for employment, advertisement, reference checks, criminal history checks, etc.
  • Responsible for recruitment effort for exempt and non-exempt personnel, students and temporary employees; primarily Nursing Services and other recruitment. Responsible for travel and lodging arrangements for on-site interviews.
  • Assures compliance with state and federal laws regarding equal employment opportunities and fair wage and hour laws.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records on daily recruitment activities, position openings (projected and annual) and trends in the market. Tracks time-to-fill for vacancies and identifies recruitment trends. Provides HRD with a monthly report.
  • Administers the Physician Manpower scholarship program. (Promotes scholarships, interviews, references and payment of funds.)
  • Completes the New Hire Trending report monthly.
  • Responsible for administering the RN DNA and ACE assessments in accordance with UHS standards and policy. Documents results in iCIMS. Reviews test results to identify any trends and share with HRD.
  • Develops relationships and serves as a liaison with professional healthcare education programs, meets with students rotating through clinical and non-clinical experiences at St. Mary's.
  • Collaborates with department directors, HR staff and corporate communications to develop recruitment media.
  • Responsible for representing St. Mary's at recruitment events to include, but not limited to career days, job fairs, and conventions.
  • Responsible for running reports from iCIMS to measure the time-to-fill and communicating any recruitment issues/successes to HRD
  • Attends professional organization meetings to keep current with recruitment ideas.
  • Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Nursing or related field required.
  • Required two years of Human Resource experience.
  • Prefer knowledge of healthcare positions, emphasis on nursing staff.
  • Must have knowledge of marketing, compensation and employment Law.
  • Prioritization, problem solving, organizational skills, critical thinking skills, strong communication and professional telephone skills required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Human Resource certification (PHR, SPHR, etc) preferred.
  • Must have current Oklahoma vehicle Driver’s license.
