Responsibilities

The Heritage Oaks Patient Enrichment Center, more commonly known as the ‘HOPE Center,’ is a 16-bed, Psychiatric Health Facility, serving the acute psychiatric needs of the community in concert with the Sacramento County Department of Health and Human Services.

We are currently looking for a Nurse Manager. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This position assists in contributing to the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, educational and Quality Improvement efforts, while providing supervision to the nursing staff assigned to their unit. In addition to Nurse Manager duties you will also be in charge of risk management at the facility.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management is acceptable.

Experience:  A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the California State Board of Nursing.
