Registered Nurse, House Supervisor

( 3rd shift available- 12 hour shifts)

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), develops and manages a mental health or chemical dependency based program of nursing and other clinical services on unit. Provides overall management and administrative guidance to specifically assigned programs, assesses educational and programmatic needs, develops policies and collaborates with other health care providers in the provision of services to target populations.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Experience: Preferred experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting

Skills: Adaptability, communication, compassion, problem-solving and resilience

License/Certification: Current license to practice nursing in OHIO or eligible to receive or renew. Current CPR or BLS certification

Work Environment: Clean, well-lit work environment, our nurses can sit and/or stand for long periods of time, high stress active work environments at times, the active work environment can be slow, the environment can have continuous low and high voices and office machine noise

This individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Diplomacy and discretion are essential. This individual must have the ability to prioritize responsibilities. Professional demeanor and appearance is required.
