UHS of Delaware, Inc. is Hiring a Mental Health Worker Near BROOKLINE, MA

Responsibilities

HRI Hospital is seeking Full Time and Part Time Mental Health Workers.

As a Mental Health Worker, you will:

  • Monitor patient safety on the inpatient psychiatric units
  • Assist nursing staff with patient treatment procedures
  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living
  • Provide routine patient care as required in a psychiatric environment
  • Document and communicate unusual or erratic changes in client behaviors
  • Assist with patient groups and activities

Shifts:

Day Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Evening Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Night Shift: 11:00pm – 7:30am

Shift Differentials:

Evening Shift: $1.25/Hour

Night Shift: $2.00/Hour

Weekend Shift: $1.50/Hour

  • Note: The weekend shift differential is cumulative; Example – a weekend evening shift would equate to a $2.75 cumulative differential)

HRI Hospital is 64-bed psychiatric facility with adult inpatient services and several partial hospitalization programs. We are part of the largest private mental health system in Massachusetts and can therefore provide competitive salaries, benefits, and opportunities for growth and development. Qualifications

Requirements

  • High School diploma; Bachelor’s Degree in human services field preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Physical Fitness – Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable working with patient in acute psychiatric distress
