Mental Health Technician (MHT) Opportunity

This opportunity is full-time, 40 hours per week, evening Shift 11pm to 7:30am with rotating weekends. There is opportunity to cover various shifts and for overtime if interested.

The Meadows Psychiatric Center is the leading behavioral health treatment facility in Central Pennsylvania. We are located a short distance outside State College, PA. The Meadows is a 119 inpatient behavioral health hospital and has been providing comprehensive services to children, adolescents, adults and older adults for over 35 years. Full time MHT positions are eligible for a $2,500 Sign On Bonus.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• A minimum of a High School Diploma with patient care experience is required. Post-secondary training or education in related field with experience preferred.
• Position also requires excellent verbal communication skills; ability to remain calm in dynamic environment; commitment to providing a high level of care to patients of all ages, excellent customer service skills and a reliable & dependable attendance to work profile.
